There are memories that never fade.
Years later, we can still remember the light of a candle illuminating the house, the gentle sound of the kettle before it began to boil, and that moment when everyone would pause to share.
Our story began long before us. Our great-grandparents emigrated from Canton (China) to Chepén, in northern Peru. They brought very few possessions, but they also carried with them a tradition that was never lost: sharing a cup of tea to welcome someone, accompany a conversation, or simply spend time together.
Over time, that tradition became part of our lives. Tea was always present, but it was never just the drink. It was the moment it created around it.
When the city was left in darkness, we would light a candle and prepare tea. The glow made everything feel warmer, conversations continued around the table, and for a moment, the rest of the world could wait.
Many years later, we realized that what we had was a ritual. Not because there were rules, but because they were small gestures that transformed an ordinary moment into a memory.
Today, we live in different countries, but all it takes is preparing a cup of tea, lighting a candle, or recognizing a familiar scent to return, if only for a moment, to the same table where we grew up.
That's how Ritual House was born.
We are three siblings united by the same last name: Li. Inspired by those memories, we create teas, candles, soaps, bath salts, and gifts because we believe rituals can be experienced in many ways, but they all begin with the same idea: to pause, share the moment, and enjoy it with intention.
For us, tea was the beginning of that story.
Today, we want everyone to find their own way to live it.
Because a home is not just the place where we are.
It is that moment that makes us feel, once again, at home.
